Here is a question to consider - why do you lucid dream, why would you take such an task in your life to be worthy of such attention that it would cause you to break up your pleasant night’s sleep to catch a simple glimpse of this world?
I hope that we have moved on from the page of reducing this activity to anything as trivial as coping with nightmares to introspecting the fractures in our relationships with our abandoned parents, surely there must be a deeper philosophical river running through our minds to provoke such a relationship to be fertilized?
For me, the answer is overwhelmingly, to investigate the nature of existence, to perturb the fabric of consciousness to see how it responds. Are we not the part of the puzzle of reality that gets to ask the ultimate question of “what am I?”
Surely such a privilege should not be swept aside in favor of the cheap alternative that dogmatic material science parades as “truth”
So how do I see it?
Well, physicists tell us today that they have a “measurement problem”, that matter somehow slips off the four dimensional radar, only to re-appear somewhere else, randomly, leaving us with a rather abstract relationship with our existence, as we know it.
To my understanding, there is no measurement problem, only a people problem. That is to say, it is simply a matter of how we measure that determines our definition of events and so long as we insist on trying to hold material out as primary, we will inevitably keep hitting this “invisible barrier”
What is visible to the eyes open has yet to stand up to what we can see with our eyes closed, so here’s an idea - close your eyes and look inside…learn to measure the topography of the inner landscape and let’s see where that takes us. It is time for a change people, let’s make this happen, let’s pave way for a new reality, one that is not hopelessly culture-bound and ordained by the mischieves of over inflated Western welfare.
Our time is running out and if we are, as I see it, some sort of information experiment, designed to self reflect, the reflect we should, as we approach the near end of our brilliant but potentially short lived legacy. As we face the future of transcendental ambiguity, I encourage us all to step inside the valleys of our minds and search for the truth that your oppressor doesn’t want you to hear…ake up!
