Ghost!!

Friday, February 24th, 2012

Remember the classic, Ghost?! Well, what I love about this film is the meeting with the “Subway Ghost” - clearly there was a lot of research done on “out of body experiences” and the tangability of the environment. The other ghost shows Sam (Patrick Swayze) how to use his intention to interact with the physical world and explains to him that he has to reach deep into his mind and soul to make this happen. Have you ever tried to make “things happen” in the dream world but found it unresponsive? Surely, we all have, so check out the “Subway Ghost’s” advice, trust me, it is a worthy lesson!!!

Quantum Coherence vs Deja Vu

Wednesday, February 15th, 2012

I saw this thread by theoretical physicyst, Michio Kaku, talking about deja vu. Much as i might not want to, I cannot help but to see sense in his arguement that it is simply an epiphenomonen of memory and how we access it. However, he rather chamingly does offer us a little glance into the elusive Multiverse, in your own living room. Science will always be the first to stand up and admit that it is wrong, as this is what science is - a continuous remodeling of our reality, so for now, it seems that deja vu is being asked to sit quietly in the corner of memory but I am sure we will take up this discussion again soon…. (pun intended) Over to Michio…

Unified Field Theory

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

OK, so all of this talk of quantum wave mechanics and the nature of reality as not being this or that, but more of both/and, has got me thinking, it’s time to talk about the elephant in the room. No-one can pretend to offer a comment on the architecture of our world, without a little trip down the proverbial rabbit hole of quantum physics but where does one start to search in such a nebulous of information.

Well, I said I’d shed some light on the subject here and point out some intersting articles and avenues for you all to have a look at. The first subject, I would like to comment on is …..Unified Field Theory!

To put this simply, it is the ultimate theory of nature, initially proposed by Albert Einstein. There are 4 fudamental forces of nature - electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear forces and gravity. These forces hold all the elementary particles together, but the question is, what theory holds them together?

So far, 3 of the 4 can be related through the Standard Model of quantum physics, leaving gravity by the way side and Einstein terribly upset as his theory of general relativity accomodates gravity starts to come undone as we move away form the curvature of spacetime into the probabalistic world of QED.

Gravity in dreams, for my ten cents, is a great deal more plastic than that of waking reality, I think Einstein would be a little less upset in there

Here is a link from a YouTube channel, that I have just taken a shine to, it is Dr John Hagelin, physicist and spiritualist…
